BYOND Name: Arreksuru
Reason Banned: Cryoing out when I grow bored of a round and choose to do other things.
Admin who banned: Crashinator08
Length Banned: Permanently(?)
I don't think getting permanently antagbanned for cryoing out when a round is growing boring is fair. Considering the times I do it are usually during extended rounds, and after the one hour mark, what's trying to be sold to me here is that I should just play through an entire round instead of using the cryo system for it's intended purpose; to leave a round.

Re: Antagban Appeal - Suru
Now, for transparency sake, the ban was applied in part because of a watchlist entry, that stated to watch for you cryoing for antag/if you don't antag. The latter is certainly bannable, the former more of a grey area in my eyes. The other part was that you cryoed one round and immediately got ninja, and the next round you simply cryoed to leave after doing toxins and got banned right after.
With that said, they do certainly enjoy playing antag. However that is clearly not the only reason they play. It's certainly more for action in general. I've observed them play sec both pre and post ban, as well as generally participate in station conflicts. A majority of the time I see them cryo, not much is happening. They are also active and friendly ooc, and generally avoid being a dick.
On top of that, the fact that doing toxins for an hour, and then cryoing, was the last straw, makes no sense to me. It also doesn't right with me that they were permabanned my an RP admin over this, when their view would be skewed. Even if he does cryo for antag (which I don't believe he does), he doesn't murderbone and midrounds are very RNG (and often not rolled for anyway).
With all that taken into consideration, I approve of removing the ban. I would like to see you play security more though.

I can't personally vouch much for the validity either side, but a permanent antag ban for the first punishment of a not that severe offence seems a bit much in my opinion.

Im not sure about this sort of thing, we have cryo for a reason to free up job slots. I figure we start punishing for this people will end up going ssd or just afk and thats not good imo.
