Reason Banned: Violation of IC information should be kept out of OOC channels and vice-versa. There is a zero-tollerance policy for this on Citadel. You WILL be warned, ticketed, kicked, and/or muted. The exact wording shall be below.
"Server rule 5 violation: Silent communication and interaction between themselves and newly-connected ckey; Vespillo, ending with both wordlessly using the Cyro-pods at the same time."

Length Banned: 10080 minutes so about a week.

Appeal Reason: This lasted about ten minutes maybe twenty at most, and what I was trying to accomplish was teaching my partner how to play space station 13. We stood at the shuttle, stood in the hall, and I tried to discuss game mechanics and what to do. I interacted with only one other player before my partner said they didn't feel like playing, so we both cryoed. While yes this could be considered "ghosting" of sorts, this was completely harmless and was in the effort of trying to teach a player how to play. Along with me not getting a ping about any of this before I cryoed and trying to re-log to see a fat week ban, I feel this is a bit unjustified. Next time I'll try and teach on yog or hippie, and keep in mind to keep it off of citadel. I even told my partner to try and talk more in-game, for fear of this exact punishment. Hell they didn't even know how to cryo, so I had to tell them a few times just to exit the game. Given the harmless nature and the lack of communication on the server, hopefully I can get some feedback here.

Understandable, though meta-comms is still a rather major offense, and far from the easiest to crack down on from the nature of it being subtle.
Future instances of breaking this rule may not be as lenient, but for now I'll mark this appeal as accepted... just be sure to teach him how to use LOOC as soon as you can.
