I agree that I took it personal. The moment I was notified that the centcom official that shot me was Jade, I did get incredibly upset because of the history of this happening and of them over escalating/exaggerating things to make it look worse than they are, along with getting way too heated themselves and it making everyone miserable. At that point I felt that it was against me, yet again, especially considering the condescending announcements with my name in them.Polymorph wrote: Well... It doesn't sound like the ban was done in response to this event, the event was just a catalyst. Â I think you do get salty in discord a lot, Ana, but at the same time, lots of people do occasionally. Â You do, however, seem to both take it and make it personal faster, which is really not a good thing. Â You take SS13 a tad too seriously, and need to walk away a lot sooner.
With all of that said, my experiences with you haven't been negative, so I'm still for the appeal. Â Although I do confess, I've never interacted with you in an administrative capacity. Â I think if you calm down in discord / OOC, it'll be a lot easier.
At no point has anyone felt Jade was held accountable for this. Look at the complaints, that's just the people who took the time for it, and if you look in the RP tab this has been absolutely exhausting. Yes I blew up and got really upset to the point I wanted someone to come on and fix it, but it was the straw that broke the camel's back for me, because it's been constant and consistent. I cannot "ignore" them IC when I have no idea who they are other than one or two of their dozens of characters, but it gets absolutely exhausting when I find out I've got yet another conflict with what turns out to be Jade's character. So that's the explanation of why I got so livid, because it seems it will not stop.
