Appeal Reason: Just going to walk through the couple incidents I think could've inspired this ban.

The first one happened yesterday, where I was participating in a political discussion in #ss13-rp. It's fair to tell us to stop political discussion, but I complained because at first Flump pinged me exclusively and told me to stop. (He later told others to but really it's inconsequential anyway.) He threatened to kick me based on rule 7, but by then the conversation had already wrapped up so nothing happened.

Later, we had a debate about the default silicon laws on R.P. It wasn't a very hostile debate, the only really notable thing is that Flump and I were on opposite sides of it. By the point Flump said the debate was over we were repeating ourselves anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. Both me and Atticus sent a message following this, before Flump more definitively told us to stop.

A couple hours later was I suddenly banned as I was trying to help someone with an issue they were having with their gun sprite.
I got Flump's contact via Kevinz but their DMs are disabled, and they went offline the second they banned me.
I don't really see a reason why any of what I did constitutes a ban.

Your ban was applied after discussion on admin forum regarding multiple complaints about your behavior from other players. This combined with the fact that you just came off of a discord permaban led to the ban being reapplied

Can you describe what about my behaviour was egregious enough to justify a ban? Flump was one of few people I've even had a spat with since I've been back. Who exactly complained? The only person besides Flump I can think of complaining is Atticus, but since an hostilities we've patched things up a bit, so even that's a bit implausible.

Note that complaints is plural. If multiple people are dropping complaints about the same behavior, then something needs to be done

Can you detail those complaints at all? Again, I can't think of anymore than 2 people who would logically complain about me. I've never said I do shit just to be an asshole, the arguments were hardly incessant.

Why, instead of a warning, was a banned out of the blue for this?

Seeing as you just came off of a permanent discord ban for this behavior, I personally do not believe a warning is necessary in this case.
I'm not the banning admin but I have personally witnessed your behavior and have had discord members coming to me to complain about you. Big -1

I wasn't banned for this before, I was banned for telling a new player that the R.P. on Cit main is bad and Cit R.P. is better if that's expressly what you're looking for.

This's never been a problem prior, I'd've at least liked a chance to stop before being perma'd out of the blue.

You were originally banned for warding players away from the server, and when a mod got on your case about it, you admit to being an asshole. Your warning was the first permaban. Since this is Flump's ban, I'll let him make the final call, but I personally wouldn't lift it.

Admitting to being an asshole if I recall correctly was just me trying to reconcile someone picking a fight with me over me 'warding players from the server.'
I'd be more specific if I could but I don't have access to the messages and if I recall correctly mine were purged anyway.

Yes I remember you said you were only ironically agreeing with the admin. I repeat that nobody on the admin team had ever heard of agreeing with someone calling you an asshole as a joke
