Note: In an extended shift they got tricked by an officer into drinking cum, afterwards punching them. Said officer arrested them and put them naked and buckled to a bed for 7 minutes, a thing which he ahelped and was dealt with although we forgot to resolve the ticket or answer it. In response to that and the HoS not acting against the officer, they decided to take the account into their own hands and proceeded to build a phazon, arm a taser on it and hunt down the officer in an attempt to tase them constantly until they admitted to the wrongdoings.

Appeal reason:
The note is factually correct although I disagree with having it on my account as an example of wrong behavior. After I got tricked I went out of my lab and flashed the officer, punched her twice and walked back into my lab and I considered the issue handled.
About 15 minutes later while on an errand I run into one of the EDs I had built earlier, who stuns me, and almost immediately the officer in question pops around a corner and drags me off to the brig, bucklecuffing me and stripping me naked including headset, their given reason "assault on an officer" while lying about having tricked me. Luckily the HoS intervenes and cuts me loose, but refuses to take action against the officer since it's one word against anothers. At this point I also ahelp and return to my lab.
I continue work on a Phazon -- we had gotten lucky and managed to get the rare core required, and every roboticist will agree that a Phazon is a nice and rare treat to simply have. Several minutes later the Phazon is finished and the ahelp still remains unanswered, no "your ticket is now being handled" message either. At this point, from my perspective, the ticket was still being ignored and as I am left without other options, I slap a taser on the phazon, inform an officer standing nearby whom I had augmented earlier about my intentions and left for medbay, planning to get a pinpointer but instead just finding my target. I tased her and demanded she admit to what she did. She replied something along the lines of "okay, I get it", but otherwise denied having done anything. Multiple gathered bystanders were watching until an officer arrives and drags her off. I follow into the brig and resume tasing the officer, repeating my demand. Somebody got an Ion Rifle and started shooting at me, to which I replied with tasing, although not enough to hardstun, simply to avoid being destroyed. At this point the fight escalated as basically everyone in the brig started shooting me. I was attempting to phaze out into space, but a critical hit from one of the several ion rifles left me unable to phase and walk in the direction I desired, so I shot the occasional taser back aimed at people with rifles. Inveitably the mech is destroyed, I'm slapped in cuffs and about to be brigged when a radstorm hits. The HoS drags me off into maint and uncuffs me, said officer follows and repeatedly accuses me of lying, throws personal insults to which I reply with one or two punches each while lying herself. The HoS seperates us and shortly after the round ends.

As for why precisely I think my behavior was reasonable and the note should be expunged:
- I considered the issue dealt with after the initial two punches I had dealt to the officer, until /they/ re-opened the issue for brigging me a fair amount of time later with no interaction whatsoever inbetween happening or consulting the security team, as the HoS was completely surprised about me being arrested at this point.
- I took all available steps I had BEFORE resorting to using my mech. Yes, the ticket was handled, but I had never been informed that it was, so from my perspective it was ignored. Had I been told the ticket was handled, I would've just dicked around in the Phazon as I had known that, indeed, my problem had been handled. Expecting me to act, or not act, on knowledge I don't and cannot ("there were a lot of tickets and we kinda forgot resolving yours") have is entirely unreasonable. Had the officer also not repeatedly lied in IC and thus dodged punishment from the HoS, I also wouldn't have had to escalate further.
- Simply dropping sexual assault is absolutely not an option.
- I simply did not "build a phazon to antagonize security" - not in the note but was mentioned in the ahelp. I built a phazon because it's a very nice, rare mech to have due to the necessity of the rather rare core and I was gonna pop in and out of departments and just chat/rp with some people, as my work was mostly done at 90 minutes or so into the round.
- I was using entirely non-lethal means and focussed all my attacks on the offending officer, until the point where I started getting shot, only then prompting me to defend myself and attempting to flee rather than to continue a fight against half the sec staff and a miner that happend to be there.
- I was using tools I happened to have available due to my job choice. If I had been in Medbay I would've used drugs, if I had been an Assistant I would've built a stunprod. In both of those cases I probably would have gotten smacked by security rather quickly and there never would have been a huge, escalated fight, and I sincerely believe in those cases I would not even have been talked to. Which would mean that it's not my behavior that would be considered inherently wrong, but rather that the tool I happened to have access to was too strong and caused concern in the other unrelated security players whose only interaction with me in that regard was having to destroy my mech in the brig.

Think this round I played as an lesser ash drake and I heard security was after a phazon but not 100% sure it was the same round, I personally think building a phazon on green shifts is a big no no unless they were requested and approved by head of staff. Getting punished by a dirty sec officer and becoming an anti sec vigilante by building a combat mech to get revenge is kinda messed up. Both your two other scenarios like drugging up an officer or stunrodding them isn't really a solution to your problem either since you just self antagonize to get revenge and it will escalate the problem. You could just talked to a lawyer or head of staff and it would probably made for a funnier and more entertaining scene if they figure a sec officer was feeding people cum.

If the note is correct it's sticking. The only reason appeals for notes are available is if the note itself is erroneous. Not wanting the note to be on your account is not a valid note appeal reason

I still believe the note should stick either way, not knowing if the issue has been resolved or not is no excuse to do what you did, phazon, drugs or otherwise, you shouldn't just go all personal revenge on an officer in a green shift just because they lied to their hos, as someone said find an officer or another head instead of this.
