Reason for ban is self Antaging and failure to listen to Admin instructions. I played one of my first few rounds as Virologist on board the station and decided to mess around with viruses. I eventually made a Virus that had fairly catastrophic results. It would cause people to catch on fire randomly, molecularly alter their DNA (this would cause the host to experience changes like glowing, turning into a monkey, getting autism, etc.), then restore their DNA, and eventually cause the host to explode if it reached the final stage. I lied to the Admin on duty saying that someone had broken into Viro and gotten sick, when in reality I myself had become sick and when 2 people entered Virology they became infected. This spread only a few times, to about a handful of people. The round Prior to this I was placed as Warden (I did not opt to play Warden in occupation preferences) for the first time and didn't know quite how the job was to be handled. Both rounds were somewhat exaggerated in the report given for my ban reasoning. I do believe that a ban was deserved at the time, but not a permanent ban.

Reason for Appeal: This Ban happened almost 1 year ago, on 2017-03-19. I have become more familiar with SS13 and how to play the game correctly. I am what I would consider a more experienced and decent addition to the crew of the station. Though I understand what I did at the time was most likely annoying to the other players in the server, I was also treated harshly by the admin for being a newer player and not quite understanding that a round that lasted 1.5 hours with little to no incidents was not supposed to be "spiced up" in any way. Of course what was done was against the rules, and one is not supposed to self antag, but for a new player who had no clue how to play their first job as Warden and got placed there forcibly, and broke the rules for the first time on what is listed as a Medium RP server a permanent ban I feel is fairly cruel. I know that I am not in a place to decide what is and is not cruel or justified, but I would like a second chance at playing on this server.

Well alright, sure. If you really say you've smartened up and know the game as well as rules better now. Yeah I'm willing to let you come back to play.
However, you say that you understand the game much better now, yes? Then you will not receive the benefit of the doubt for any future incidents like this. Meaning you'll be let back on, on the thnnest ice.

Let's not do any more of that meta communications or trying to "spice it up" anymore eh?
