[Midnight_117/ BlackMajor] Permanent Ban. Grey Tiding.

Reason Banned: "Behavior has not improved since being banned, in fact it appears to have been degraded. Permanent ban has been reapplied."

Admin who banned: Midnight_117 (Admin was requested by BM to ban.)

Length Banned: Permanent.

Appeal Reason: I've been told by a ton of people to appeal now, and it's kind of like, "Why haven't you appealed yet?" so here I am. I want to play alongside them again, not merely on Starbound or other games.

I was banned for "grey tiding." in a way by BlackMajor respectively, as the banning admin was told to do so by BM. There wasn't much I did as an assistant that could've affected the round in a way, and I apologize if it did. There are times where I can recall where I did a thing or two that wasn't the smartest thing to do, like making Gygaxes during a round where we had abundant materials for mech jousting. There was also the time I took the CE's hardsuit to wire the solars merely because all of the suits in EVA were stolen for the gate way mission, the same for the Engineering hardsuits.

Supposedly I've been accused of from what I've heard of, "breaking into the Captain's office every round." , "breaking into the CE's office every round", "always stealing from tech storage."

Tech storage "break in"s are usually me asking the HoP for access to tech storage to make a cool area or redesign the maintenance bar. However, these are usually always reported as "break in"s by probably Sanax (someone who still isn't surprisingly banned after their blatant admittance to using meta information.)

Captain's office, is almost non-existence. The only time I've broke in is probably to hide in the bed to surprise a certain captain, name I've forgotten. There were no other incidents of me breaking in unless you have "supposed logs." of me doing so.

CE's office, was the same situation, once for the CE hardsuit to wire solars as the station was running out of power as no one set up the supermatter engine. I don't touch engineering cause I don't want to get banned for accidentally releasing a tesla or blowing up the super matter or even somehow releasing a singulo from containment with a single poke.

Overall, the ban reason is sort of pretty vague so in a way I was "banned for grey tiding.", as reference to "bad behavior." due to my previous ban of accidentally firing SRM-8s from a Durand.

Sorry for my behavior of grey tiding I guess. I waited a few months to post this for things to settle down? Don't know. I was pretty hesitant to post this and I doubt it's going to do much maybe. Sort of scared, cause one of the three headmins kind of sort of hate me. I hope this will turn out okay but I'm not quite sure what to make of it as of right now.

But hey, it's worth a try cause my friends keep saying, "why haven't you appealed yet retard." This appeal is sort of all over the place but I don't really know what much else to say aside I won't grey tide again. The most "serious" cases of grey tide I've done is probably breaking into places and just socializing there or loitering, nothing much aside that. Sorry, again for grey tiding or "bad behavior."

I wrote this appeal eating shrimp so I may or may not have made mistakes here and there. Hopefully I will be able to play alongside my friends again, don't know.

(Most of the reasoning I've found behind this ban is by asking around , the ban seems to be aimed towards grey tiding. Nothing more was mentioned about my ban, or well- I wasn't told at least.)

Hello, Yogstation headstaff here, I was contacted by F1X regarding this appeal. I can say that this player causes very little issues for us now on Yogstation, and has been a decent player for a good while now. Previously, when they first joined, they had constant issues with overescalation, killing people for unjustifiable reasons, the lot. But after time has passed and one particularly long ban, they have had little issues with overescalation as it stands now. I think they contribute positively to the server and show improvement in their behavior and capability of learning from their past mistakes, which is what I would look for with someone permabanned, the ability to change and improve their behavior ingame. I support their unban, if your staff is inclined to do so.

Aight, I've been able to confirm the legitimacy of Yogurtshrimp's post. I'll be giving Blackmajor the honors of lifting the ban, since it's his ban and all, but if nobody gets around to it in like a week I'll lift it myself assuming there's no further discussion to be had. However, F1X, I'll have to make it clear that you will be on thin ice for quite a while once the ban is lifted, as we'd like to avoid another episode of someone being given fifty ""final"" chances back to back with no sign of improvement in-between.

Have fun, but don't fuck it up. Show us you've turned your behavior around, and make us proud.
