Ban Appeal - Don Spaghetti

Post by Don Spaghetti »

BYOND Name:  Don Spahgetti

Reason Banned: " "Fresh" join as geneticist, killing people for no discernible with their little buddy. You know how it is. " - BlackMajor

Admin who banned: BlackMajor

Length Banned: Permanently

Appeal Reason: For one, I'm not TOO fresh, I've been playing for around 10(ish) hours, really been enjoying the server, and I haven't played any other class other than lawyer (just wanted to get that out there). I wasn't given a warning or anything before getting hit with a perma-ban. I'm fairly new to the game itself so I wasn't 100% sure what the geneticist does, I killed one person thinking I had to turn him into a monkey lol, not knowing the consequences that I'd face. Super sorry to that guy I killed, and hopefully I can keep playing on this server. I promise you this wont happen again, Thanks.

Didn't you read the wiki? Like, it's the first thing I do when I try a new job instead of killing people.

Yeah I did read the WIKI, but I was just thinking I was doing my job turning people into monkeys.

The TG Wiki?
Where it says your duties include; 'turn monkeys into humans and vice versa'?
That you took that one line as the most important part of that page and went to such a degree to do so speaks worryingly of you.

Yeah I looked over the rules.

Man, I literally started playing the game on Monday. It was my first time playing as the geneticist, and I was thinking I had to turn people into monkeys to preserve their bodies after they die, monkey see - monkey do.

Oh dear...I wouldn't even know where to begin here if I was a part of staff. Your response would easily make me nervous, but I would still be willing to give another chance considering it is the first offense. It is up to the headadmins though. My thoughts on this is this: If you do get approved, don't kill people and then monkify them after, it's not cool man.

I mean you were literally in genetics with your metabuddy, strategically locking people into scanners together, stripping them of their things and disposaling them before killing the victims and disposaling them too. All with a notable lack of communication between the both of you. Makes me think.
Though you neglected to mention these details didn't you?

No.

And thus, important information was spread onto the table. I've had to deal with a similar duo that said nothing and tried to kill me once before. Sorry man, but I wouldn't support an unbanning at this rate.

Yeah I said I killed the guy, i didn't mention every single detail about how I killed them my bad. And we didn't kill people, we killed one guy that looked like the alien from the predator vs alien movie, and even THEN we didn't have time to kill him until you did some console command to kill us both with like a lightning strike. I don't know what other details I left out, maybe the fact that I wasn't even the one who flushed that guys stuff down the disposal.

That's what I been sayin'. I've been playing the server for like 10 hours, and all of a sudden I'm out here killing everybody !
