Please answer the following questions to the best of your abilities:
1. How would you engage with two players having an out of character altercation?
I would first attempt to understand the totality of the altercation. After (quickly) working out the issue, I would politely ask the two individuals to cease the argument in OOC, explaining how the dispute is disruptive to the round. If the argument ends, I would note the individuals involved and be on my way. If the fighting continued, I would mute OOC, remind all individuals involved that such disputes should not be occurring in OOC, document the further intervention, and unmute OOC. Should the altercation continue, I would issue an OOCban to the involved parties, and utilize the ahelp system to directly tell both individuals that further arguing will not be tolerated, while issuing a formal warning. If, in our hypothetical, the behavior CONTINUED after that, I would issue a one day ban to both individuals (if within my purview), and elevate the situation to the administrators for further review. In any case, I would monitor the players involved for a short while to ensure no metagrudging or in-game vengeance occur.
2. What should an admin do if they're involved in a situation that needs admin intervention?
If at all possible, the admin involved should refrain from any action directly involving themselves. Attempts should be made to contact another admin to review the situation. If unable to involve another admin, Messages should be left (via discord) to higher ups, while explaining to the other person involved that there are no other admins available to review, and that a solution will be found ASAP. If the issue involves impact of another player's round, the admin involved should defer to letting the player involved continue their round if possible. Followup should occur, ensuring an uninvolved admin has resolved the issue.
3. How should an admin determine in what way to punish someone who breaks the rules?
The first step an admin should perform is determining the motive involved for the rule break. SS13 is a complex game, and what appears to be random grief to an experienced player may be a newbie trying to learn the ropes. Once motive has been determined, an admin should further review the player's history. If a first time offence which isn't massively impacting to the round, a warning would suffice. Malicious actions with impact other player's rounds should be met with bans (In general, I've felt that a one day ban per person impacted is fair). Repeat malicious actions should be met with bans of greater severity, up to higher admin reviews for permabans. Repeat non-malicious actions would warrant job bans until the player involved shows the maturity and/or skill needed to resume the role again. Blatant griefing should be met with a prompt perma.
4. Under what conditions should an admin de-admin themselves while playing?
An admin should de-admin themselves in any instance that information gained via admin tools would give the appearance of metagaming. Command, AI, Security, and antag are the obvious roles that would warrant a de-admin, but any role could fall into the bracket. Common sense, if a normal player would think you are using admin tools for an advantage, then de-admin.
5. What is expected of an admin on Citadel?
Maturity, level-headedness, and a degree of understanding.

I think you'd do alright, judging from your extremely sparse note history and ingame behavior, but I wanna see what the rest of the staff team thinks of ya.

Neato answers. I agree with Bhjin on this. Nevermind. I heard questionable things about this person.

While your replies to the questionnaire are acceptable, observing you in the Discord leaves me with the impression that you wouldn't have the right temperament to moderate accordingly. I'm going to say no.

After reviewing game and discord history, I'm hesitant to approve this. +0. Not denying it or approving.

Thank you for your consideration regarding my application to the post of moderator.
Unfortunately, I will be retracting my application to the position at this time.
Again, I appreciate the time spent reviewing the application, and I hope you find qualified players to fill the position.
Have a great day!

After the questionable stuff came to my attention, I retract my support as well.
Since you've retracted your application, it will be moved to the denied section.
