Reason for application: I am interested in and putting an effort in to assist the players and admins in my spare time.

Please answer the following questions to the best of your abilities:
(I answered these from the perspective of being an admin)

1. How would you engage with two players having an out of character altercation?

If it's heated, ask them to take it to DMs on discord, if they don't listen then mute OOC and warn them again, re-enable the OOC channel and if it continues from both parties they both get an OOC ban.

If they're having an argument over something that happened in round and are talking about IC information (This example being if the round hasn't ended EORG ect and that they're both exposing in game info.) they both get a temporary OOC ban and depending on the seriousness of the information leaked a possible day ban if it's the first time they've done this maybe an hour for them to cool off, if not their first offence perhaps a 3 day ban, with a lot of notes and history of doing this possibly a week. But I'd ask a more experienced admin until I have more experience.

2. What should an admin do if they're involved in a situation that needs admin intervention?

Admin help it and leave it for another admin to deal with, you shouldn't pick up your own cases because the result will be biased.

3. How should an admin determine in what way to punish someone who breaks the rules?

Take into account how many past notes they have for the same thing and any more recent ones for other things.
How they've been acting as of lately.
How the other admins feel about their behavior. 
The seriousness of what they've done such as an extended gamemode 10 man murder spree as a non-antag head of security without saying a word would be a permaban (AFTER INVESTIGATING FULLY), while someone breaking into a secure area as their first offence after a month playing would be a note and a slap on the wrist at most.

4. Under what conditions should an admin de-admin themselves while playing?

If you're a headrole, de-admin.
If you're an antag, de-admin
If it's secret you should de-admin.
It's probably just worth telling your fellow staff and de-admining if you want to play. If there isn't any other staff online it's best to dodge that round since the game isn't just going to suddenly stop, you can always play another time.

5. What is expected of an admin on Citadel?

Do your job, be active, don't be a jerk, watch over the people while they do what they do best and help weed out those malicious little buggers.
