Ban appeal for Ssscratches

Post by CydiaMoff »

BYOND Name: Ssscratches

Reason Banned: Harassment, Breaking Server Caveat "Don't be a dick"

Admin who banned: rubyflamewing

Length Banned: 3 days

Appeal Reason: Seeing how I had no idea who it was OOC or IC and I did not have ill intent whatsoever I don't see the fairness of this ban and I apologize for breaking the server caveats and/or harassing said person whom I did. I had no idea who I was trying to put in the locker, and I apologize even harder for strapping them to a roller bed and flinging them around, I just wanted to mess around with my telekinesis powers, I didn't mean to harm anyone doing this whatsoever. I realize how this is considered minor grief/a security issue. Despite this I believe this should be more of a note than a 3 day ban and apologize fullheartedly to anyone involved.

right so i was part of the discussion on this and i was torn between "this should be an ic conflict for security to deal with" and "why are you annoying people with tk for no reason" and my end opinion is while you shouldn't be screwing with people with TK without any reason other than for your amusement, a 3 day ban for it is far too harsh.
personally, i'd probably tell you to stop, and possibly leave a note, but a little TK annoyance honestly isn't worth this much. banning would be for repeated occurrences of abusing genetics powers.
however, i will state that i am someone who believes that some things should stay in IC more than others, so take that as you will.

ban lifted, note changed accordingly. Ruby was unavailable to do it themselves due to net issues.
