Ban Appeal ~Kris.P.Kreme0

Post by Kris P Kreme »

BYOND Name:
Kris.P.Kreme0
Reason Banned:
"You have been banned by sevntohno.

Reason: Constantly slipping someone in HoP line, constantly using bluespace golem abilities to teleport away from Security, attempting to evade punishment in every way and form. Begone for a time."

"You have been job banned by sevntohno from: Research Director, Scientist, Roboticist.

The reason is: Slipping a man and then leading Security on a manhunt through the station taking advantage of being a bluespace golem to teleport constantly to evade capture."
Admin who banned:
sevntohno
Length Banned:
1440 minute job ban and a 60 minute ban
Appeal Reason:

It doesnt seem i broke any rules, all i did was slip a guy a few times for bothering me after i cut in line at the HoP line. While it was rude he kept comming into the space lube on his own accord after i tried slipping him out of it. He then came at me with a chair and caused a minor brawl, which the AI then told security to arrest me specifically for some reason though i didnt throw the first punch, thus is why i used my bluespace powers to teleport away. This caused a huge 10 minute manhunt by security untill sevn told me "hey you should like stop" (not exact words) and of course i refuted a bit before finally deciding "alright ill stop". After this i decided to let a security officer arrest me without teleporting. I then suggested that they should just jail me for the time, while they decided a exile to lavaland would be fit. After a bit of discussion with security they decided space is good enough as well. There they threw me out into space (actually i had to waddle out so i didnt teleport with a bit of a push as a send off) and there is where i stayed for the next few moments before the ban. From there Sevn then said
Admin PM from-SevnTohno: I said for you to accept your punishment. You decided not to.

PM to-Admins: i did in the end didnt i?
PM to-Admins: look at the chat sir, they decided to exile me so i accepted

PM to-Admins: thats why i let the security officer take me from virology break room

Admin PM from-SevnTohno: They were going to send you to lavaland. Not Deep storage. You can either accept being teleported to lavaland and staying down there, or more likely, getting a ban.

Click on the administrator's name to reply.
PM to-Admins: why not ask the captain on the new decision? if he still decides lavaland then ill go to lavaland

Now, after this i was banned for 60 minutes even after complying with the admin. Is it my fault that a sec officer agreed to exile me to space? No. Was it wrong for me to teleport around and goof around without stealing any high priority items or being a genuine threat to anyone? According to the rules it isnt, considering i didnt ruin anyones round, didnt blow up anything, and wasnt a toxic PoS. The absolute MOST I could be accused of is power gaming by becoming a bluespace gole
m which even then isnt deserving of a job ban.
now you can argue: "why didnt you comply to the admins wishes earlier?"
My answer to that is i did actually.

Admin PM from-SevnTohno: Take your punishment.

Johnson Liams asks, "Can golems use internals?"

PM to-Admins: i was innocent

Raeschen Orthoss hisses, "No idea."

PM to-Admins: but only for you

Raeschen Orthoss has analyzed Raziel Urk's vitals!

Raziel Urk says, "What"

Raziel Urk says, "I dont have lungs"
Raziel Urk says, "Anymore"

Here is me talking to a doctor (Raeschen) while a sec officer (Johnson Liams) held me. My PM to him signifies that i have given myself up to security just as he asked. This is after i submitted to him from virology hence is why we are in the medbay. I don't mind waiting out a ban, i just want to know if theres any valid reason to why i was banned. I let the sec officer take me in, they suggested a exile since we all didn't know if you can borg a golem, first it was lavaland but as i said above the sec officer decided my idea of being in space is equally as good. Also, according to space law im not supposed to be perma brigged from a mild case of trespassing, resisting arrest, and assault. At most i should have been sent to the gulag with max sentence. On the topic of being a blue space golem, of course i used the powers to get away, thats how i was reacting IC'ly with the issue. If i didnt use my teleportation to get away id be a idiot, unless i wanted to be captured of course. Let me get this straight as well, i have NOTHING against SevnTohno, i think he is a fine admin usually and that he was just trying to do his job as best as he could. I should also mention i have two warnings that were due to my own un-robustness that consists of accidentally making a xenomorph-army that ISN'T loyal to me to fight other xenos that were random spawn as well as accidentally making a army of spider lings that wernt loyal to the spider i made sentient as i thought they would be.

If anyone wishes for the entire chatlog or screenshots from it I have them saved.

Oh please, please do.
Because as HoP, I was tempted to lethal you for the sheer level of disruption you were doing as a whole, just to get you to stop. But let me backpedal and explain all of this to you, so you can understand where MY frustration on it all comes from.

I sign on, do my job. I hear of a golem popping up in places they shouldn't be, because they're a bluespace golem. They say they can't control where they end up, only that when they warp, they end up where they end up. At one point, you pop up in my office while I'm doing my job, and I politely let you leave my office, albeit disgruntled. This all keeps up, until at one point, you ask me for all access, to "let yourself out of anywhere you shouldn't be that you warp into randomly". You should know that a good HoP never hands that out, and an even better one will do one of two things: prank you with it, or insist you get permissions from other heads on the matter. I made your ID assistant access because of the fact that I was feeling like pulling the former of the two things, and the fact that something told me getting you to do paperwork wouldn't go well. I did fix your access back to Scientist, but I also told you that you shouldn't have been surprised that I didn't give you all access because a good HoP doesn't do that, and I also didn't have you take a form over it.

Now, fast-forward to someone in my line, waiting on me to fill out their form for elevated access. You barge through, and push them out of the way, claiming you're more important than them. First off, your mother should've taught you to not cut in line unless it's super important, and whatever you had - as you said, a "love poem" - wasn't that important. So the person tries to take their spot in line back, and you respond with space lube and slipping them on it, then throwing them away every time they try to take their spot in line back. After about 5-8 times of this, they storm off, grab a chair, and start beating you up with it, because you're being a general cuck. You two scuffle, then you end up warping away and they go get patched up, and it's not the AI that tells Security to apprehend you - it's ME that does so over common channels, because of the length of time you've just generally been a nuisance to the crew. The person came back, but said "fuck it" when I told them that what they wanted required them to get a piece of paper stamped, but the fact that they could've gone and played the round out sooner could've been had if you didn't impose that whatever "love poem" you never gave me was more important.

Then turns out, while you're wanted by Security, you're just evading them the whole time, your warping activating all the time and making a manhunt out of something that never should've been one. Once you're caught, the heads and I convene, and come to the agreement to borg you. Until that got drummed up as not happening, and since you're a crew member turned golem somehow, force borging you is against silicon laws. Then apparently you were exiled to space by the officer, rather than it being even brought up with the Captain, who wanted you to go to Lavaland for all I can tell, and that's when this story ended: with you stranded in space, over so much crap that could've been avoided if you had just played nice.

So then, where does that leave us? Well, I think I'll hand it to you on showing your evidence, your proof, about all of this, and we go from here. But the fact that you have notes that relate to causing chaos - or in the case of one, being a SO during Secret and going to ERP before abandoning the round afterward while not doing your job at all - doesn't paint the best picture for you. So I'll warn you now, it's sort of an uphill battle for you, one that I'm sort of wondering the point of since you're ALREADY PLAYING AND STUFF AT THIS POINT. NONE OF THESE BANS ARE IN EFFECT AT THIS POINT, EXCEPT FOR THE SCIENCE ONES, AND THAT'S TO JUST BE A NOTE TO HOLD THE PHONE ON THAT STUFF FOR NOW.
Seriously, these bans are simple stuff. You're already playing again, and you're basically told to step back, rethink your behavior with Science stuff, and do better next time. Slap on the wrist stuff, really. But you *did* say this isn't so much about the bans themselves as it is, more the information that was had. Which I *did* provide in my side of this whole story, so do make sure you notice that stuff. But now I pass the torch to you, let's hear what you have to say or show on all of this, if you feel it needed.
It is only waffer thin.

I understand completely on how it can be irritating for a Golem to be popping up in places, yet i never bothered anyone except for that guy in the the HoP office. I didnt expect anything to come from asking for all access obviously, however the disruption caused was from a over reaction on security's behalf. The first thing they did when they saw me accidentally pop into the brig the first couple times was to taze and detain instead of letting me out. Of course i was evading security, I hadnt done anything but defend myself at first and then teleported away from them. Was it my fault that they didnt try to communicate instead of using force? No. The point still stands that i didnt ruin anyones playtime. Even then, why would admin involvement be needed for a IC situation? if someone had probably asked instead of just trying to tase me and stun baton me, which both causes bluespace golems to teleport anyways, it would have been a much better outcome. If i am correct the round was extended, so there was nothing for me to do besides play around in xenobio and goof around, as my jobs done with all the slimes that science can need were in the fridge. I cant speak for the sec officer on his choices to listen to me for some reason, but i doubt a job ban is worthy for a few slips and a chase.

Screenshots in about chronological order from when Sven first PM'd me to after i was spaced. The chatlogs didnt save properly but luckily my screenshots did, though some are a bit overlapping or repeats

Let's make this fast. You decided to start a shitshow as a golem, constantly evading Security and refusing to accept responsibility for the mess you made. You're playing right now. You have a break from Science. I could have been far harsher and probably should have been, given the notes, but you have gotten lighter than what should have happened. Don't waste the time of Security as a nonantag on what was an Extended round, if memory serves, because you want to be a griefy bluespace golem. Appeal denied.
