BYOND account and character name: Navier - EDCI
Banning admin:Kevinz000
Admin I contacted said they will provide the logs to me once I post a appeal...
I would like to have the notes on me as well the chat-logs of that night.
Ban type/duration (where you are banned from and for how long): main server, silicon Job ban, 15 days.
Ban reason:
You've had about 4-6 notes in the last month for silicon related things from just about as many admins. The final straw is the inaction to help your master as an emagged cyborg. If your master dies while you're locked down, you save them afterwards at first opportunity if they want you to (which they usually do), being locked down isn't an excuse to ignore radio heard in that time. Also didn't to a reasonable extent follow the kill order their master gave for a security officer, and they said they tried to search the brig for their master but they didn't even touch the execution chamber or anything, just sat around while a group of officers were around the kill target.
Sorry mate, but you're going to have to start playing non silicon roles until you can handle the responsibility of playing a uniquely designed and balanced role in the game. Silicons only work if people are willing to follow laws and fulfill their role when called upon to a degree greater than most roles. You've had enough warnings.
Your side of the story: Got led off into maint and got emagged I was given laws to treat them as crew but am to maintain secrecy, I was then ordered to kill another player and went off to do so. however shortly later I got locked down. with luck in the chaos I got saved and released without Roboticist from finding out that I was emagged. free again I went off to accomplish my mission but wanted to find the right moment to spring. then Kevinz messages me and informs me that my master was executed. I was not aware of this and during (or around) the lockdown I failed to notice their message for help in the chaos.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I am human, I did not intentionally ignore their cry for help. if I have realized it I would of done things completely differently. Kevin makes it sound like I intentionally did it (I did not) why would I do that? and being banned for 15 days because something you missed in that chat crawl is completely ridiculous.
-----------
Kevin mentioned about 4-6 notes in the last month for silicon related things. I like to view those notes as well the logs of that night, and the admin I contacted said they will provide the logs once I post a appeal...
What point I want to make is: Admin messaged or the hateful comments I may get in OOC chat. I pay attention to them and try to do better next time. I enjoy playing what I play and I actively try my best spite what the role demands and have fun with it ....
it has never been intentional ... lot of mistakes are one time, learned, and never repeated.

Crux of the issue is still that we usually hold silicon players to high standards due to the degree of the power they have as that role, only balanced by OOC limitations (see: laws and behavior they are allowed to do in their modules).
You aren't paying enough attention. I know you're trying but sometimes trying isn't enough if this results in this many incidents in the past month. There's nothing wrong with playing as a regular crew member until you're competent enough at the game to handle this.
I'm willing to lower this to 3 days to a week pending re-investigation into the round logs but my opinion that you need to be capable of playing the role before playing it and as of right now you're quite a bit off.

Still without the logs but at this point this ban reason is beyond that shift but all I have to refer to is the notes posted by Trojan.
That note about me putting someone in a sleeper pod as borg, I do not ever remember doing this but I am severely sorry about that and also about not responding to the ahelp.
What you mean I am not capable or have not been competent as AI or the borg?
I have joined in july that was about a month and a half ago. since then I have learned quite a lot and can do many roles well. I am especially more adept than I was 50 days ago. speaking of, when I stated the "Do not state law" I have already corrected how I handle Law changes so that wont happen again. (and has not)
Accidental harm to crew has occurred more than once than I like and I do try prevent having these mistakes. that event of going out in space while someone riding was a real Derp moment on my part but I caught myself and made sure they got fully recovered, and I feel I have done well not having these mistakes.
This recent failure was to miss their comm message saying they were being executed.
Is this enough to label someone incompetent and a ban? seems extremely harsh.
