Reason Banned:Tazed a greytider trying to stop the Wizard with a flamethrower. Proceeded to shoot the greytider with the flamethrower three or four times until they died.

Appeal Reason:
I believe the killing of the member was justified because...
-The member had stolen security tech (a headset, which they used and spoke directly to me in this after I ordered someone to keep an eye on the crew member), built weapons (flamethrower), which I had previously investigated into and the member was considered an antag by other members of security
-They had endangered many members of the station by setting an entire hallway on fire prior and caused multiple injuries from this, and a large amount of toxins in the air. Due to a lack of items, I had to use the only one which was around, the flame-thrower. the crew member was dead after the first use
-To my knowledge the wizard had not done anything that was considered arrestable and from previous investigation into the crew member who I had killed they were going to regardless of this

New Appeal Reason: Turns out I was also job banned from every security job along with the 72 hour ban
HOS I fully understand why, same as Warden, but Security Officer seems a little bit too much personally when the context is added to the situation, and when examining the reason. The weapon was made by another crew member, As a security officer I was barely armed, only armed for non-lethal force, as it should be, and had not taken the chance at carrying a weapon, only a tazer, it was only when the situation got out of hand and multiple people were dying from the incident prior (when the crew member was burning up halls in the process of trying to kill the wizard, and harming other members from this) to my killing of the crew member.
Just want to understand if a full permanent job ban from all of sec is entirely justified, and if so to be given some context as to why, since the reason given by ragolution was regarding the 72 hour ban, but does not mention why a job ban is also required, as they instruct to read through the Security code of conduct, which makes sense to me if I was only being banned for 72 hours, but not if I was also being banned from sec.

The jobban is in place until you display a proper, appropriate or even acceptable understanding of how Security is meant to be played, as such a piece of gross misconduct as I witnessed that day is completely and absolutely unacceptable.

Just for the record, I have re-read all rules for the server as you requested and intend to apply them to my RP/Gameplay.
I assume you'll be judging this based on gameplay + RP of other jobs? (I frequently play Bartender (using the shotgun only in situations where it is acceptable, last round I played taking it out of the bar only once for a short period of time due to a terrorist (who blew up my bar) who I helped the captain take down and arrest, since we did not have a security department) and other service roles).
