Appeal Reason: As a Roboticist I had just built my very first Ripely with a drill and equipment that would actually be useful to the Shaft Miners on lavaland. As a Roboticist I take great pride in being able to fulfill the crew's self-borging requests, creating drone bodies for positronic brains and the AI, and fulfilling the bounties requested by Supply, which was a Ripely this round. Unfortunately on my way to deliver the mech from Robotics to supply I passed by the dormitories and I decided I would test out how strong the mech really was. Here I broke Rule 3.4, Maintain your professionalism, when I decided to play with my "toy" instead of delivering it to mining or supply for a proper in game and professional use. Citadel is my favorite server and I had made many friends here in the past two weeks where I started getting serious about learning the game mechanics. I need to come back so that I can be the reliable and dependable roboticist who stays at his post, takes care of 'his' borgs and is always available at the robotics office to fulfill the borgs, crew, and AI's requests. When I play as Cyborg I would frequently find that the robotics team was no where to be found, leaving me frustrated that I could not get a simple headset implant or battery upgrade. I play and choose a job to be a dependable member of the crew in the position I'm assigned. If I didn't want responsibility I would play as an Assisstant.

TL;DR: I broke Rule 3.4 about maintaining In Character professionalism and I would like to come back to Citadel Station to take care of 'my' borgs and provide good service to the crew.

It's more than just rule 3.4. I'm an RPmin and, I can tell you that breaking into dorms without a very solid reason is a quick and easy bean. Dorms are protected places to privately scene. Unless you're an antag and your target is in there, or, there's a stationwide event that legitimately threatens everyone: powered up cult, most of the station is destroyed, etc. Then there's no reason to be bothering them. Rule 9.2 "Purposefully disturbing players having a private scene with the intention to interrupt them is not allowed. However, ERPing in a public area is not protected; do not expect an admin to intervene if you're interrupted in a place that isn't suitably private."

I am aware of that rule and that is why I did not go after any room which was locked as indicated by the red light on the airlock. I wouldn't want to interrupt anyone currently doing something. The flawed thought process going on in my head at the time was pretty much OOC anger at players who derelict their duties, but I shouldn't have taken it upon myself to try and "solve" that issue.

Anyhow, I _DID_ break the rules, I _KNOW_ what I did was wrong. I harmed the ship and upset the crew through my actions during that round. I would like a second chance though. I LOVE this game and I LOVE Citadel Station. I don't know what else to do at this point except beg for a second chance to serve aboard your ship.

I was aware this was your first ban, which is why Im fine with this being lifted.
My thought process here was, if you were a genuine griefer who had ill intent for the server, you wouldnt have put this much effort into appealing the ban.

Just know that the offenses, even by themselves, that you performed are enough to warrant a permaban anyways. Thank you for making this appeal, and next time you want to mess with dorms, ask an admin if your reasoning for doing so is just, lest you receive the ban again.

I'm really eager to get back online and play with my Citadel friends. Any timeline on when I'll be able to play again? I promise not to do something like that again! It was just a slip-up because of being in control of such a cool and powerful object in the game, If I want to play with the mining mechs, I'll play as a shaft miner.
