Reason Banned: "The ban reason is: (MANUAL BAN) died as HOS only to disconnect without warnign admins. You could have waited a bit to be cloned, seriously. Week HoS ban."

Length Banned: 1 Week

Appeal Reason: I only disconnected following my death because It was 8AM and I had to sleep  I had died so I figured that was the perfect time to log off for the night. Would have alerted an admin had it been perceived as necessary.

As far as I'm concerned, any unintentional death is a valid exit point. No questions asked.

Get killed by an antag you're chasing as HoS? Clear to disconnect.
Hit by a rod, even if your brain is salvageable? Clear to disconnect.
Nukie tripped you and you fell six feet down? Clear to disconnect.

As long as you're a ghost and your body is dead, there should be absolutely no issue.

Note: Once you've started cloning, however, that's a different beast. The moment you've gotten a scan at medbay (whether you're alive at the time or not), you've consented to continuing the round. If your scan goes unused, that's fine. If somebody tries to clone you but you're disconnected (hence the "Initialization Failure" message), that's fine. But if the Reenter Corpse verb would put you in the cloner, you are already back in the round, even if you do get to say parting words to the ghost.

This should have already lifted.
