Apparently I was banned for Griefing... (BanID#6492) How I was doing such I honestly do not know or remember.

I honestly have NO idea why I was banned PERMENANTLY for griefing exactly and it honestly pisses me off quite a bit to feel treated like this, I have no recollection of griefing even remotely, I've been playing on citadel station for quite a while now and feeling treated like this is unacceptable for something I don't even know why, Not to mention when is Griefing unless it's of such a huge magnitude that it would be game breaking to be permanently ban-able! 

I would like to be unbanned as I cannot remember why exactly I would have been banned. Maybe because I didn't think a thing about it or what or my account was hacked and used to grief? Hopefully someone else knows why exactly it happened.

Alrighty. I'll fully admit that your ban "reason" was far too brief- we're working on putting description into the bans so that both staff and the players have full knowledge of what happened.

Did a bit of logdiving, here's what happened:

On an extended round, you were a non-antag station engineer. You got through half the shift without incident, and then decided that your talents were best suited for going on a flamethrower rampage against the crew. You killed several people before being executed by security, and logged out before staff could question you.

We've still never gotten an explanation for this behavior, so if you do recall this round and are able to provide any info from your point of view, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Oh! yeah I do remember that happening, It wasn't intentional for what had happened, From what I recall of what happened I had my flamethrower out, I had never made one before and was excited to have found out how and accidentally shot it off on the escape shuttle, I truly didn't intend for it to happen but as security started trying to taze me it just got out of control and I retaliated to defend myself with said flamethrower, I'll admit maybe retaliating by trying to burn everyone may have been a bit overzealous but in the moment it's just what I did.

But i'll state again what originally started it was a misclick, an accident and I did leave right after the incident more or less cause I didn't think a thing about it and was being bothered by a friend to go play another game for another community so I was a bit in a rush. I'll say that i'm sorry for what happened and that it was unintentional.

the only thing that makes me a bit suspicious about lifting this is that you were previously banned for "accidentally" oxygenistoxic-ing the ai as well, so while these could actually be accidents i'm not entirely sure

Yeah I understand but I feel like I've been a bit of a victim of circumstances in both, I explained what happened with my previous ban, I can't tell you to trust me which would kinda defeat the purpose of you making that choice on your own. I've been a player of Citidel station for a few months now, a couple of crappy moments shouldn't be enough to condemn me forever...

it looks pretty shifty when you keep making these grief-tier mistakes that most genuine players manage to avoid making, i'll lift this ban but you really gotta be careful going forwards
