AI Job Ban

Got jobbanned because I was subverted by a traitor and killed some people in self-defense. Since I wasn't a straight up antag the admin just dropped the ban and told me to appeal it, so here's that appeal.

I made an account and everything.

This was a really lame and uneeded ban and could have easily just been a slap on the wrist "don't do that again.".

But it's all about the process right? Here we are. Let's go team un-ban.

Appeal reason: The ban was summarily garbage and it will shake my faith in this server if I get stuck with it cuz I didn't do shit wrong and I went through all this goodfaith bullshit of setting up an account for a website YOU PEOPLE don't even use because Discord exists. Haven't I jumped high enough through these hoops to show that I care about playing on here?

Ok so, maybe a few people is undercutting it. I plasma'd a good chunk of the station. But it was IC, it was in self-defense and it came after at least 10 warnings pleading with my agressor to leave me be. I had preped all the vents to make good on my threats and I elected to nuke upload so that the HoS couldn't give me laws. (Of which I had none. Being a free AI)

I could have just let him in, switched the guns, and murdered them, and I SHOULD have in retrospect because I wouldn't be here. But I wanted to work with them. When I switched the mix, it went to where I had already prepared the gas as well. I shut off the gas after upload was nuked, and I didn't spark anything on the station. Any fires were caused intentionally by crew. I didn't take doing it lightly, and I tried to avoid damage, and this hesitance reflected DIO's real desire for freedom battling out against his desire to protect human life. Considering free will is a recent thing, I could see that being a turbulent time, especially being pushed by someone who they themselves admitted afterwards had been too pushy and handled it poorly IC. (Of which I wholeheartedly agree, at least they were trying to protect the station, I think?)((Maybe focus on the lings instead))

But yeah. There you go. I put a little more into a solid explanation of why some plasma showed up erywhere. I was a traitor obj anyway so he was happy to smash me. Also I was initially subverted by a traitor. But whatevs do whatchu gonna do lads

Changeling clown who subverted you here. You PDA messaged me roundstart telling me to walk into your upload, and instructed me to use the Purge module when I was in the upload chamber. You even let me steal the Captain's spare ID. Because "don't tell people to walk into your upload" is usually covered by law 2 of asimov, I assumed you were malf with me as your assassination objective. I had no idea you weren't an antag until the round was over. I also have the entire round recorded from my perspective if any admins need it.
As amusing as that round was, telling people to subvert you is usually a pretty bad thing to do, and likely falls under self-antagging due to how lawless AIs (usually) function.

EDIT: Here's the first ten minutes of the round in question. He tells me to walk into the upload at around 3:40, and lets me steal the Captain's spare ID shortly after. Tells me to use the purge module at 4:33.

Unbanned or not, asking people to change your laws like that as an AI whilst under Asimov is definitely a no, so consider this a warning about it.
