How long have you played on Citadel?: per the website , between my first connection a year ago and my most recent connection I have connected 1746 times.
How long have you played SS13?: about a year now
What is your timezone/general hours of activity?: Central US  , I can observe while at work normally , and at night I get home and get on the computer normally 6-11pm
Previous SS13 related admin experience: None
Previous non-SS13 related admin experience: GTA V , TF2 ,

Reason for application: I want to help out with the Servers as our pop will be growing as we have the RP and the main server both listed. I did have a time where I was a bit hot headed but I have gotten past that , I try to see things from other some more points of view . I might not be the best person but I can admit when I am wrong , and apologize when its needed. I have gotten passionate about this server.
 
Please answer the following questions to the best of your abilities:
 
1. How would you engage with two players having an out of character altercation?

 First is to try to defuse the situation and put a pause on it to try to figure out what is going on, it will take patience, and a good bit of typing to get both sides of the story, perhaps some reassurance for one or both as tempers get quite short during these kinds of altercations, I would know I have been there. If the players will not take a time out, you might have to teleport them to the Admin prison, to be able to conduct your investigation. If things go better it can be easy enough to tell them to stop. Each situation is different and you have to get to know some of the players to see if its something accidental, a pattern or something else.

2. What should an admin do if they're involved in a situation that needs admin intervention?
If at all possible get another admin to pop on the server to mediate and take the situation as there can be bias due to heated tempers even if we think there isn’t. If no one can get on, talk in admin chat and get some textual support and go a bit lenient with the punishment if any.
 
3. How should an admin determine in what way to punish someone who breaks the rules? Well per the matrix, consulting with other admins or headmins.

4. Under what conditions should an admin de-admin themselves while playing? Anytime that it could cause meta-gaming to happen.
 
5. What is expected of an admin on Citadel? To be patient, fair , at times even humble when you make a mistake. A punching bag sometimes.  I know this job stresses people out, and can cause burn out ,  I will face this with the best I have to give and if I cant handle it I will ask for help before I break and try to keep things on an internal level so it doesn’t spill out.

Should any of these answers not be amazing , I am willing to learn , just like they said in the movie 'Stripes '.
