Appeal Reason:

IC: The thing mentioned in the reason was what the character (Karma Kiss, a scientist) thought (IC-ly the game engine failure was explained as an anomaly). BoH-singulo was placed in the unoccupied area (empty hydroponics) and everything was half-frozen, so it didn't even grow, noone got hurt at all (no air leakage, no gravitation issues). The other IC-reasoning was that my character got beaten by hydroponist for trying to upgrade the equipment he/she had. 

OOC: As the progression of events on low/mid-RP (?) server is usually quite fast (oh, god, that movement speed), I didn't think, that it would be such a horrific idea.

I'm really sorry if I ruined the round for someone. I would love to play again though on RP server, where the story develops slower and less chaotic.

How new are you to SS13?
Even if your BoH bombed in an empty space, I hope you know that the resulting singulo is an unconotrollable ball of death that only grows with how much it eats. In no circumstance is it okay to BoH bomb as a non-antag, and even then, you should have hijack if you do decide to BoH bomb.

Not that new to not to know that if "points at" arrows stopped disappearing and most of the other sprites are frozen - singulo won't grow.

So you straight up Singulo-griefed with the excuse that the server was hanging. This doesn't sound like an appeal that's going to get accepted

As I said, I am really sorry. I was roleplaying and doing my job all that round. Getting silently attacked by botanist just got me over the edge. I wasn't aiming to destroy the station or to kill anyone.

I'm fully aware of my misdeeds. May I ask for another chance? (sob-sob) :c

I don't know how you're planning to justify an absurd amount of grief with "RP reasons".

The MC has the ability to restart itself when it's hung up. "The MC was frozen so the singulo won't grow" is not, in any way, shape, or form, an excuse to spawn a singulo, as the singulo will start growing the moment the MC restarts. The MC also speeds up for a short time to make up for the time lost between the MC hanging and the MC restarting, meaning a singulo spawned while the MC is frozen will grow to the highest possible stage pretty fast after the MC restarts itself.

Short of being an antag or being dumb/new enough to follow someone's instructions to put a BoH in a BoH, there's really no valid reason at all to BoH-bomb on station, as it'll almost always end the round prematurely.

There's also the fact that I found TWO singularities that round, the one in hydroponics and one...I believe in Science? Science or Medbay. However, I was only able to determine that you did, in fact, create one of them - as for the other, I honestly couldn't figure it out. So not only did you do something rather blatantly, but either someone else did and got way or you did both. I'm willing to say you only did the one, but honestly, it was just a serious clusterfuck because people were trying to crash the server at the same time, and making a singularity by BoH bombing is a very good way to make it crash and need host restart be the only saving grace.

I've learned that when you see so much pointing that it's spilling out of medbay's lobby on MetaStation, someone's trying to crash it while it's locking up. So I was plenty stressed and peeved about that. You just didn't help at all with your actions, not to mention that's hardly proper escalation at all. =/
