I was never given a single explanation of what I did, whatsever.

Ban baiting? Are you kidding me?

I got wordlessly banned after an "investigation" with allegations I wasn't even able to defend for a solid week.

Someone kept throwing rods at me, so I stabbed them with a screwdriver. I got slung into the gulag by a HoS who didn't give me any protective equipment, and proceeded to die in lava and sit there because he never bothered to check in, and got angry.

I didn't "Ban bait" and I didn't "graytide". "Generally shitty behavior recently" despite never getting a single admin PM other than an issue that was deemed IC. A bit extreme.

Here's what happened.

There was someone chasing me around tossing rods at me, they continued doing so and I believe even tossed a mechanical toolbox. All purely IC, I proceeded to stab them when they were instigating below after continuing to tell the HoS that they were throwing rods. I do not care about the IC stuff. I proceeded to get arrested, then tossed in the Gulag without any direction, input, clarification, or anything of the sort other than I was being punished. I went outside and started to look around and a storm hit, I couldn't find a way out and ended up dying in lava. The HoS shouldn't have tossed me into gulag in the first place without any protective gear AND even admitted in LOOC that they wouldn't even check in on me. This made me upset. Yes I IC/OOC'ed but it was nothing round breaking or extreme, and yes I got angry because this person decided to take me out of the rest of the round because he was being lazy and didn't want to do his job.

A week ban is absolutely extreme and I find it extremely unprofessional in that not only was I wordlessly banned without input on my side of the story, I was completely blocked on discord and unable to convey my side of anything, and fully ignored. This is ridiculous from a "head developer" who lays down a solid week ban without any input other than logs (which do NOT tell the whole story).

While I was upset and yelled a lot in PMs, it was moreso because of the fact I'm tired of the shitty security that wasn't doing anything, despite me telling them what was happening, along with the fact I was taken out of the round over a minor issue. (Two stabs with a screwdriver).

This is entirely your fault. The gulag is a legitimate punishment. If a storm hits, you go the fuck inside, instead of walking into lava. The only thing you need to survive in lavaland is an oxygen tank/mask.

Except its not when you're tossed in there with no words on what to do, how to get out, what to mjne and the hos never comes in to check or gives you any objectives, especially when the station is being bombed and the power is going out. 

The area was depressurized outside. You were slowly getting crushed, and when the storm hit my screen stayed fuzzy black because the mc has been breaking a lot lately.

I'm not blaming my death on him, I'm saying it's shitty that I was left there to rot the rest of the round because he was a lazy shit and decided he'd rather toss me into the gulag over two stabs (I ran after the two so dont tell me thats attempted murder) then when I was upset in looc was told he wasn't even going to bother coming to get me. Shitcurity at its finest. 



Also, please tell me how it's acceptable for an admin to lay down such a heavy ban without discussing the facts of the situation first, then blocking you on discord and ignoring your appeal link?

I wasn't outright griefing, I've had no issues at all almost my entire time on this server other than an issue with the swastika which was deemed overkill on the ban.

From his investigation, I agree that the ban was needed.

Lying to an admin is bad.

Your prior notes show that you have a history of committing suicide or killing yourself after doing something wrong.

You were already on the watchlist for straight up griefing in a previous round.

For your information, if you actually read the banning guide, you would see that the numbers listed are a rule of thumb and not a specific limit on bans. Please do not be a hypocrite.

Lastly, your approach to appealing bans is hamfisted and just a little obnoxious. I would suggest you not harass admins in DM's and that you at least pretend to be a little more respectful in the future.
