Original Ban: Permanently banned - Lied to admins. Set up a drama situation. Good bye. - This according to the notes i've received from Kevin was from malti ( https://pastebin.com/yAhY02Q4 )

Current ban:
Permanently banned - Severe history here from alt account benpowell987, ban evasion. Numerous other servers show similar behavioral trend to what they did here on their former account. That said, these records are dated as the ones I've looked up thus far (still processing others) permabanned them years ago. They say they have changed and have not done anything ban/noteworthy on their new account on either server over the ~3-4 days they've been here. Appeal on the forums.

Appeal Reason:

I do not remember much about 2016 I know there was a situation from the aforementioned notes I was being sassy and trying to navigate around getting in trouble with admins by straight up lying to them I -believe- the issue may of stemmed from a meta-issue that came from harassment and such and simply wanted the guy gone(?)I cannot appeal much to the original ban with 'I did this, I'm sorry however with the ban evasion;

When I originally came to the server again a couple of days ago I had a sneaking suspicion that I was banned which lead me to A-help it, ( this was the day before the Ball event ) and did not join the game until I received the all clear message, me being on a different account wheren't an attempt to subvert this on the basis i've had this account since march 2012, for all extensive perposes; this is and has been my main for a -long- time to a point I actually forgot I'm responsible for the Benpowell987 account.

many of my bans on SS13 come from years ago, and i'm not using this as a defence, a permanent ban is a permanent ban, I've made an effort to actually fix the things i've done in the past and if I had knew I was banned I would of infact made an appeal before hand. Yes some servers have banned me for silly reasons, others.. not so silly reasons and i'm not going to say I regret it as for most of it, I genuinely do not remember most of my time on SS13 but know that for most of it I was being what is refered to as a 'Shitler'

However times have changed and I am infact a completely different person now then I was before, I mean for the most part of it I was abusive, I Was shouting, I held meta-grudges against people whom in turn held them against me, and was behaving like a twot in regards to always trying to have the last say. I actually looked at the notes and viably face palmed as I would if I was witnessing someone doing it before my eyes, the people on the RP server can attest to the fact I've been absolutely zero trouble these last few days, attempting to report issues when issues come up, asking for help when I need it, and offering my help to the very best of my knowledge, i've even threw a few suggestions on the discord in an attempt to improve the Roleplaying experiance as a overall,

My reason for appeal is simply;
In the last 4 days i've come to love the server, not because it's one of the few i'm not banned on, I Know one or two people that know me from other servers and hate my guts on the matter, and i've steered clear of them, But because the server is everything I Have ever wanted out of SS13, the exploration team, the proper RP abilities, the friends i've made on it and I Know it'll be a shame to never be able to play again over things I did years back, I Know me and Kevin havn't seen eye to eye but I genuinely believe that what happened between us two ( I felt he was being a dick and I think he felt I was being a dick, ) was more a clash of personalities over any attempt to cause drama, or start a fight between us two.

I know full well also that if I -ever- get unbanned, and banned again, that is it I Will never be able to appeal said ban, and it's something I won't risk, As Kevin said; They say they have changed and have not done anything ban/noteworthy on their new account on either server over the ~3-4 days they've been here. and I feel this is a major show that I indeed have changed.

I'm a decent roleplayer, I'm 'me' verbing everything my character does that doesn't have flavour text already to it, E.G I'l Me my character pulling out a cigar and lighter putting it to his lips, and then i'l click the zippo and light the cigar as both have flavour text to it, I've even helped a few people with their emotes during my 3-4 days time here, and feel the purge to improve the server shouldn't apply to me as I can guarentee I offer nothing but good to the server.

I've asked in the discord the name of the admin whom said I wasn't banned on the server i'l be waiting for a response and will update ( sorry if I bump, unintentional! ) when and then, it was the day before the ball, between the times of 6pm and 2am GMT ( sorry I cannot be more specific. ) it was the first thing I did on the server, and didnt even join the round until I got the go ahead as previously stated, if you're the admin involved, please give me a shout!

I'm simply trying to prove to the community that I am no longer the person that I am infamous for, and other servers won't vouche for me, many servrs i've been banned for exact same reasons for years.

Some things to note
1. 3-4 days really isn't indicative of anything, I just put it in to be concise and clear.
2. A head admin will have to deal with this ban appeal and I highly recommend they check on all ss13 server for related note/IP/CID histories. This is not as much my ban as whoever banned you originally's ban, and since that's not me it falls onto a headmin to resolve.

Aforementioned Ahelp I sent off on main, that is all, but I feel that if I had intentionally attempted to subvert a ban that I had forgotten about I wouldn't of drew attention to myself in such a way.

They only checked your current byond key, which likely did not have any notes on it. They likely did not know of the previously banned account

I do understand that, me and Major had a conversation about it, I asked one or two admins to look into the question for me, and when one couldnt find it, Major did ( luckily it was one of the first things I did when rejoining the server so I found it of my first join time and date. ) but I hope the question enough proves that I Had no intention of Evading a ban but simply me being stupid and forgetting about the previous ban on the other account to which i've not used in a long, long time, I could of easily got an admin that knew who I was, or one whom would of checked my IP,I was genuinely trying to be honest and respectful to the server when I had asked.

I've did a bit if research in regards to the original Ban on the 987 account and could not find anymore details into the ban,

i've attempted to find out who the admins where around the time of my ban, the following where given to me by another admin who was active at that time.

Malti whom originally banned me has disappeared it'd seem, according to another admin.
And i've had trouble finding theoun on the discord list,

I've even did a little search through the notes on the 987 account which Kevin provided but sadly it's came up short, The ban has become a mystery yet paired with my actions on other servers from the periods of 2013 to 2016 it really paints a picture to what I was like rather then what I am like now.

No information can be found on the ban, and I feel the appeal is at a stage where all the possible infomation you could have, is here however if you need to talk to me I am in the discord under the name 'Benpowell' feel free to DM me and i'l respond as soon as I can.

Hi Ben,

I discused your ban with Kevinz, and we came to the conclusion that we may consider accepting your appeal if you could get vouched by other admins from other servers. If they do agree your behavior has gotten better than before your initial ban, we will high probably remove the ban.

As grateful as I am for the opportunity, as Kevin is aware; I am banned on a solid 99% of most servers, these bans are over 2 years+ old,
I came and applied expecting the worst as this is what i'm pre-inclined for when it comes to SS13 appeals, many other servers also require a vouch from other servers if the ban is old, and this isn't the first server i've attempted to appeal,

As much as I appreciate the offer, I know that getting vouched for is impossible, for me, and I was rather hoping to use citadel as a way to step into other servers and see myself banned after time,

I'd very much be happy to talk to the admins via a private chat or call, or even a public chat in order to figure out any other way that we can get me unbanned, be it on a trial period where I absolutely am aware that I will be permanently banned without i come up in -any- regards, but if this is not possible I've already made the decision to donate to the server after christmas.

Sadly, when I left the discord my DM's started to ping, apparantly when I left, several admins took advantage to state and tell everyone I was a shitter and had a long history of it.

Please don't, I made alot of friends here, and was nothing but respectful and kind on the RP server, I made many friends and did nothing wrong to garner attraction to myself, I know that one or two admins have held grudges against me from the past and this shouldn't be brought onto the present,

Yes you're right, I do have a history of being a 'shitter' but this is a reputation that was made 2+ years ago, something i've tried my best to go against now. I've been nothing but calm and respectful, even in the ball my one response that was mediocre aggressive was pulling up some valid points about 75% of the map being filled with alien weeds, and the litter, oh god the litter, it only gained traction because I Stated at the end that I would be going for a smoke and would not hear a response. I checked through 4 days of OOC logs, and not once did I complain about anything about the ball, Not once did anyone have any issues against me,

This is something you, yourselves can check. from what i've been told and saw you can specifically request OOC logs with a validated reason. I've done nothing but help the admins in this investigation and done my best to keep the 4-5 people that where screaming down DM's that this is an unfair ban and I should be approved immediately away from the chat.

If I did, I'd likely keep the ban in place - from the talk I've seen so far, I can't say I look forward to seeing you unbanned ( this is after I asked if he personally had intention of dealing with the ban. when I asked what exactly it was I had done this time around he remained silent and refused to answer any more questions. )

These are a few, FEW things that have been said to me by admins the last few days, okay many of them are yesterday for me however the point stands,

I don't think that many of the admins have actually had an encounter with me, yet many are just going off what another one or two admins are saying, and this isn't right, I feel you should of made your own decisions based on what you had seen of me through actual game play, and as I've already been told that this appeal will not be successful because of what is going around in the admin community at the present moment.

On the server I've seen truly disguising behaviour, trolls, people that spam copy+pasta about woody and Andy, people saying the N-Word, hell there's even a person that is ban evading that has an active Admin application up now ( So I have been told ) some of these people are still playing today, yet I wont be granted a second chance on things that had been done two years ago. and I guarantee if every admin on the server checked the OOC logs of my time on the RP server, you would not find -anything- to complain about and I promise that. I did my best to keep the drama following this ban and the malpractice of the admins that have been involved in this away from the discord or server I genuinely did everything right. yet any and every admin I have had to contact has been somewhat hostile to me with some exceptions, Fract? you're alright dude, thanks for the comments and the chat.

I will be watching the appeal all the way to the very end, But sadly this will be my last post on it as I feel every piece of evidence has been posted by me after I had to get admins to actually look into this on my behalf, I fear if I didn't it wouldn't of been a fair count and nobody would of investigated anything.

EDIT: I'd like to just make this edit clear:I had wrote this post in anger after hearing SECONDS after I left the discord, a player representative had called me this and that and went on to slate me behind my back, I wrote this entire section and then had to edit it almost immidiately s i've with-held things that could of potentially got admins in trouble and provided things that prove that the way admins are looking at things at current are looking back 2+ years ago rather then my stellar 4-5 days on server, 2+ years ago? Those 4 days would of been filled with nothing but complaining and shittery behavior, it was rare i'd stay unbanned from a server for more then 3 days, and this is PROVEN by the link I posted at the VERY top of the screen, those days given on my notes where in RAPID succession. At the moment what has gone on, with nicks comments and other admin comments isn't right and akin to the reason I was previously banned for, the amount of disrespect it is to call someone a 'bit of a weirdo' and to comment about how much of a 'long history' of being a shitter I've had is simply not right, adults do not treat other adults like this, let alone game admins and player representatives of a server treat their players.

I want to say this situation it's pretty absurd at my point of view.
The fact that he avoided a +2 year ban is kinda... Weird... It's like saying than a missile is about to hit your home but someone have the chance to warn you 10 days before it colides... But the time passes and he says nothing... He ways until the missile it's already 5 km from you... You are obviously fucked up.
In my opinion with Ben, I had a really a fun gameplay as explorer(My first time with that role) he taught me very well he basics and we had fun... Funny conversations and situation, the day I played with him, he showed no "shitter" behaviour or some kind of OOC complain, we just had pure fun and I was happy to keep playing with him.

I'm going to be utterly frank at this point: Over the past few days, I have seen nothing but disgusting behavior. "Oh, he said this why so and so's account is banned." Why is not every admin fully informed. Why are you keeping everyone in the dark if he was indeed a shitter as Player Represenstative Ty Clarke had stated. I was informed via Kevinz of the banning and was going to be brought up to why I should not listen to him. Kevin even stated via pray to not listen to him and then promptly kept uninformed as to why I should not. The Player Rep even show'd signs of lack of position standings. Are you not supposed to be for the players? If you are, then post the reasoning for said bans. Sure ban evade? Two years ago? Yeah okay. I seen no shitter when I played the few rounds with him. So where is your standing grounds on this ban?

Edit: forgot to add that the ban was talked about by kevin and he knew that he was banned from multiple servers. Makes sense to get rid of someone that has possible potential and instead sweeping under the rug. Am I right?

Re-edit, and final edit: I have just been 'finally' informed of everything and anything regarding you. You have an absolutely sickening history in Yogstation. Highly disrespectful of staff and had gotten banned from the ball for an extremely just reason. If you are so a different person, then why all these logs? What are you hoping to accomplish here with an extensive history? I like you ICly, but OOCly things have been brought to light. I honestly do not see you easily getting back in short of a miracle. I apologize, but I am opting out of this and keeping myself neutral due to the circumstances.
