Appeal Reason: 2nd attempt after some months, it's been a pretty long while, and a couple of people can vouch that i've atleast changed. I've said sorry for what I had to say sorry before and stood up for whatever ban I was against before so I'm not here to sit and type a paragraph about it
also afaik new staff here and there, so probably that "overwhelmingly negative" admin consensus prolly changed by now

I am of the opinion that your in-game behavior is highly acceptable and on par with other good players we have.
I don't see how shitposting on reddit got you a game ban instead of just a discord ban, even if it was considered bad.
I'm on board with an unban, especially after this amount of time.

I find 'quality control' to be an agonizingly dubious excuse to ban someone. While I understand why you were banned in the first place, having been active staff at the time, I am absolutely willing to humor the idea that you have 'cooled down' as the bad eggs who were influencing you at the time have essentially disengaged from the community.

I honestly vaguely know the reason why you were first banned. All I know is about a reddit drama with /asskek/?
I've tried to ask several times for the whole story but didn't get anything.

I honestly think you're a good player, you sure meme, but you do can also have some quite HRP behavior from my past experience and I do think you're a good player overall.
And I do would be in support of you being unbanned, especially since your story was only discord ban worthy in the first place.
Yet I don't know the whole story, maybe some other admin will add their part of the puzzle and I might change my vote.

Just gonna throw in a gentle reminder that this is the dude who made a reddit post with a bunch of screenshots framing Citadel players are like, pedophile defenders or something after asskek started a discord dramashow. Couple people got random harassing DMs as a result before the mods took down the post.

As it stands, what you 'joked' about is absolutely not a laughing matter.

To put it bluntly it is inexcusable behavior at best and does warrant you no longer being welcomed here in any capacity. Such Libel is irredeemable and damaging if misused or misquoted.

I've a bit of bias on this one myself, to be honest. As I used to interact with Neon a fair amount before becoming staff, and told him to may as well try making an appeal.

While personally I think that reddit posting was just, you know, some dumb stuff out of game. It did still happen.

In any case, this has my approval. /But/. I'm not going to approve it myself due to expected bias. Get bhijn or gorgo's take in this I suppose.

If my view on this is needed... then my vote's going to be a 'no'.
As it stands, the only thing I can see in this ban appeal going in your favour is a few admins supporting an unban for good in-game behaviour... but with how drastic a show of out-of-game behaviour you put on display that led to this ban in the first place, I'm not reassured similar won't happen again should you find excuse enough to do so.

So, unless anyone else wants to add anything, this appeal will likely be considered denied.
